When we receive feedback from our users, such as feature requests and feedback, they never fall on deaf ears. We pay attention, as we understand the importance of the information you tell us. It is your instrument that we will make every effort to make sure it does the job you require to accomplish!

However, the development team has been very busy over these past months working on more features to add to the mix. These extensions are specifically designed to improve your experience by making it more user-friendly and offer the ability to paywall more effectively and with greater control.

You talked. We were listening. Here's a rundown of the most recent changes...

#1 - Control your membership using this Members Registration Restrictions add-on

With the new Membership Registration Restrictions add-on it gives you complete control of who is able to register for your membership.

You can use the add-on to restrict membership signups by...

  •   IP Address  
  •   Email domain  
  •   E-mail address  
  •   Age  

If you decide to limit registrations based on IP address an email domain or email address, you are able to choose whether your restriction is based on an allowlist or a blocked list or the allowslist.

It is also possible to create a maximum active limitation on registration for every membership. So there is a limit on the number of people are allowed to join.

If you like to set a personalized warning message for every restriction. This message is displayed to all restricted users trying to sign-up.

There are a thousand options to utilize this add-on. However, some of the more frequent uses include...

  • Employee training
  • Premium VIP content
  • Communities that are age-restricted

#2 - Reduce churn with the cancel override add-on

Perhaps you already know that it is possible to add a cancel link to your memberships by checking the "Allow users to terminate their subscriptions" option on the Settings > Account tab.

Doing so gives users the option of cancelling their subscriptions that are recurring.

What's differentto the cancellation process includes new is the "Cancel Override" functionality. By enabling this feature, anyone who clicks on the cancel link within the Account > Subscriptions section is automatically directed to a customized landing page.

Removing the Add-Ons and Cancel Sign-On Use Cases

With the Add-on for Cancel Override, the conversation doesn't have to end at "cancel my account". It is possible to use the site to explore various options, including discount codes, downgrades as well as free trial incentives.

It is also possible to use the page to get cancellation data. You could, for instance, conduct a survey with the form plugin in order to comprehend why users are cancelling. Then take that info and set to work on improvements.

#3 - Account Nav Tabs Add-On

  • Create a Support Page. Create a traditional help page that allows members to submit support tickets and get access to your knowledge base.
