Keith Andrade of The Morning Byte

Keith Andrade, founder of The Morning Byte

"One of my interests is staying up to date about the latest technology which is happening within the technology and business worlds," starts Keith Andade who worked in the field of software as an service (SaaS) for the last seven years.

He went to Baruch College, a business college located in Manhattan While he was there, he absorbed a lot about business to be in sync with his love of technology. "The two have a lot in common," he discovered. " Today's businesses must rely on technology in order to succeed in order to expand and grow. It was fascinating to see the way these technologies work."

In the following years, he began working for a health insurance as well as payroll business. "Previously the only thing that was available were papers and pens, as well as filing cabinets. Then, [the new company] were totally disrupting the business," he recalls.

Then he was employed at monday.com as well as ones.com and sold the software for managing projects to companies. "I was a fan. It was then that I realised to be able to engage effectively with my customers, I needed to not only understand the technology but not simply understand how their business is run, but also be up-to-date on new trends."

The Morning Byte

Keith used to spend his free time scouring the internet and finding articles in order to send them to friends and family. "I realized that I couldn't just keep delivering them content every morning on something I think is interesting'. This is why I developed this service for news texts for quick updates of the latest news." Keith created an automated service using Zapier along with ChatGPT to find interesting the articles that he enjoys, then summarize these into short bullet points and deliver it in a text message to customers," Keith explains.

The problem with social media

"Our customers are awestruck by social media. It's all about that instant gratification" Keith continues. But the problem with social media is it winds up taking the majority in your daily time. You may use TikTok to find some short news clips and you could also utilize Instagram or follow your favourite influential person to view a carousel pictures of events, but the issue is that whenever you open up an app you're exposed to different opinions and ideas that appear automatically within your newsfeed."

Keith believes the advantage that comes from The Morning Byte is it removes any intrusion of other content that are competing to get your focus. "It's a text message; You can access it at any time you want. You have that freedom again," he explains.

Some readers look at it in the early morning. Others skim it during lunchtime. "The idea is that you're in the control of your time and attention. Social media is a place where you must cut through the noise to find what you want. Social media can be a time suckers and is a waste of your time. The time we spend is the most valuable resource that we possess," Keith adds.

The author continues to argue that social media has no motivation to make our lives better. "It's an excellent way to keep in touch however, it's not only a way to keep in touch is it?" he asks. "I check my newsfeed and all it's advertisements or companies paying for the right to post their stuff."

"I believe that social media is entertaining. It's a good thing. However, I'm not convinced it's a great idea. And I don't think it's beneficial for our mental health. The Morning Byte is a place for people who actually want to better their lives." The author advises people who wish to make use of technology in order to succeed or wanting to become a business owner need to have resources available to keep on top of their game "All I'm saying is The Morning Byte might be your number one choice!" he smiles.

Crucially, Keith uses his own product each day. "I spend nights working until midnight searching for pertinent information since sometimes events happen in the evening. I like everyone to be well aware when they get started on their day. I choose reliable sources such as Reuters or the New York Times. Forbes is a great source; The Verge is a fantastic source."

Keith says that regardless of whether you're a smaller company owner, if you have an established source of details that aren't readily available to a major media organization, then it's important enough to attract The Morning Byte's attention. "If you find my article intriguing, we'll forward it to our readers as in the sense that it's relevant!" he adds.

Being ahead of the game

In his experience working with many firms, Keith was constantly thinking about how he could take something he liked and monetize it all giving value to its customers. When he first came up with the business model for The Morning Byte, he noticed an additional customer, The New Paper, was doing something really similar but in the world of politics. Keith recognized an opportunity.

"I believe there is a lot to gain for those working in the field of technology. Realtors and other professionals need to know the ways in which AI technology impacts their daily lives." Keith thought he could help them stay on top of their game. "If you're a blogger, it's like, 'Do I really need a new microphone?' or 'Is there a software that will assist me in making my voice sound crisp?' These are all issues that people ask themselves because there's a new AI technology being developed every day."

I wanted The Morning Byte for myself. It was then that I experienced that 'wow' experience. I'm determined to do more than just be informed. I want to stay ahead of the game. I am a tech worker and I'm constantly challenged to win sales, and also win the business." In contrast, The New Paper focuses on the political landscape, The Morning Byte focuses on financial tech, electric cars, machine learning, and artificial intelligence."

It's not surprising that Keith's readers are business and tech proprietors, who have limited time. "It's hard to keep up with the latest technology and confusion. The information on my site is factual. I provide highlights from article. You don't have to read the whole article You just read the bullets, to know what's going on. If you'd like to read the original article, because it's important to know where your information comes from The source link is on the site.

It looks like Keith's journey is complete, beginning as a person who needed details, then a buyer of his own product, becoming the founder of a business that curates information to help others. It's one thing keeping current, but as Keith has realized, being ahead of the curve is quite a different matter. But there are services out available to assist you.
