Wonder Jam Wonder Jam Wonder Jam is "a brand family that helps entrepreneurs grow through a process that's intelligent, clever and full of energy" as in the famous words of Daft Punk, harder, faster, better and more powerful. One of those brand names, Wonderly, builds websites, visual branding assets and Membership software that helps its customers "set them from the crowd". I spoke with director of the company Allie Lehman and developer Matt Hart for more information.

Fine art and work that is freelance with the liberty of

"My background is in the field of fine and I spent my early years engaging in lots of oil painting and drawing," starts Allie Lehman. "At high school I had an excellent art instructor who, funny enough, suggested that you might be an illustrator or graphic artist' although I didn't really know which the terms meant! I decided to go with graphic design, and went on to college to study it."

Allie was a graduate during the recession in 2009 and went into the Web Hosting support. "It was a bit challenging, however I did learn a lot about hosting servers as well as how WordPress was installed and everything related to a website," she remembers. "In 2013, I created The Wonder Jam, now The Wonder Jam is our parent business. I left my job as a designer, and began the company full time."

She'd been working with Matt Hart for a couple years at this point. Matt Hart would create websites and she would create the websites. At this point they began to work together often: "We've been working together for more than 10 years. It started when they were freelancers. The collaboration was a natural result. The focus now is on businesses offering services and creating WordPress websites." Allie adds.

Matt begins: "I do primarily WordPress development. This process was taught to me by me in the beginning of 2010s. A lot of people who were able to join the WordPress world, they were thinking"We'll need to implement CSS so that this theme will have the appropriate colors' and it became very dull very quickly!" he smiles. When web page builders, such as Beaver Builder and Elementor came into the picture and they could increase their flexibility "We could do things using a customized approach which is based on the specific needs of our clients, and we were able to satisfy us in a creative way."

Since their initial collaboration, Allie and Matt have focused on "going custom in a way which is cost-effective" as Matt says: "We do only what our clients would like and do not make decisions which our customers don't want. This is something that our clients are concerned about and they don't wish to appear as a mystery. They would like to feel confident. With these tools, let's achieve this."

Allie states: "In 2013, I started The Wonder Jam with my spouse after having been working as an individual freelancer. Also, we were able to hire Matt as our Developer Contractor. We wanted to be a part of the team. We wanted to develop our own style, and we wanted that freedom." The Wonder Jam was born.

Systems, soils and support

"We are located in Columbus, Ohio and it's an extremely friendly and welcoming region for businesses of all sizes," she continues. "Matt came in Seattle and we began working with local clients; we'd walk along the streets downtown, and check out all the businesses that we've collaborated with." The year is 2020. After seven years of The Wonder Jam and as they started to expand nationally, they made it the company's parent, and currently has three brands which are affiliated brands.

Wonderly is a company that is service-oriented which focuses on authors, nonprofits chef's and fitness instructors. It also has a sister brand called Basis that focuses on merchants as well as people who sell products as well as a separate brand known as Studio Wonder, an events space and photography studio located in Columbus.

Three brands that allow for a great deal of creative flexibility: "It allows our team to focus upon the goals they'd want to achieve and also to be able to have their own processes that they follow," Allie says. "Because Matt and I started working in tandem from the beginning, we have a decade of processes in our backs. I have photos from 2017, of us working whiteboards each step in our process so that we can make sure that our clients feel truly supported.

"The Wonder Jam operates as the "soil" to supply everything a small-scale enterprise needs to go under the hood Then each sister brand can'sprout the products in their individual ways and do as it wants with any possibilities that come up. It allows all routes be clearly defined and with no hiccups created by factors that create difficulties when running a solo or two-person company," Matt continues. "We are a group of businesses that can support each other."

For example that for instance, the Basis brand is focused on Shopify and online shopping, However, once a while there's a client that wants to start blogging , and would like to provide an alternative to the products Shopify provides. Matt states: "We say we don't create for you, but we design in partnership with you. We're not planning to take out for a while to create something for them. We meet regularly and show them how we work from beginning until the end. This is in contrast to being in our crafting rooms and making stuff by ourselves!"

Contexts and Clients

Matt and Allie have been working with a variety of organisations that require the website to be easily accessible to them in various ways. "Some of our customers are nonprofit organizations. These are extremely robust websites. They're almost too complicated, or have been in existence for a long time. We tend to consolidate or condensing so it can be made simpler," Matt explains.

"We're also working with people that are seeking membership websites, such as individuals from the food industry," Allie continues. Wonderly's clients tend to be people who do human-service-oriented work: "They're fighting for equality, they're looking to talk to their audience a little differently. We tend to work with those who've put a ton of their dedication, cash and time in their venture," she adds.

Wonder Jam Wonder Jam brands collaborate with any type of organization whether it's large-scale non-profits or single-person entrepreneurs who are transitioning into full-time employment from an occasional side business. "We've attempted to create solutions that meet the needs of both. We're discovering what scales work well and how to think about things differently when the scale of the system is drastically different. This will be an enjoyable thing to explore!" Matt laughs.

The author adds that "With non-profit organisations usually, they've got an established structure and have figured out all of the legal obstacles they had to get over. We'll often make this way possible, because we're not looking to begin from scratch." A group of people can change the perspective on the situation and determine the kind of situation that could make someone want to donate making the process of giving more straightforward.

In the initial stages of the partnership and with every single client regardless of their type of business and size of the site and the size of the website, the Wonder Jam team talks about the method of providing customer service. "A website can be an effective instrument in making a sale. It can also become extremely successful in getting customers to return as well as being an advantage. Simi has such a compassionate view of "Just Move" and not trying to make your body feel like a prisoner. There are numerous options depending on the range of motion and flexibility of the body."

In the beginning, when Simi initially joined Wonderly there were only a few videos to choose from. They could also be changed once per week. "It allows for things to become more organised and permits Simi to match what's practical to her timetable" Allie confirms. "After around two or three years of operation, we have widened the list of members and gave Simi the opportunity to provide the best service possible to customers. It's an awe-inspiring experience. We're happy to be able of changing our approach in the event that clients' needs alter. We're just reassessing the designs, making minor changes and applying them to the next stage of developing."

Another user, Molly Baz, wanted to move from her current platform and move to one that could be more branded and engaging. "Her brand's visual identity is dynamic and so specific to her. She wanted people to feel 'live with her by providing recipe updates, recipes and other updates and the same sort of information they're comfortable with , but with a style that was authentic and specific to her personality," Allie explains.

It's been reported that Molly's web presence has been significant to her. "To have the ability to organize it into the right format that's consistent to her aesthetic - altering the web page from "Oh There's a photo of Molly Go buy her cookbook', to something more substantial within and out of the member base. This adds value," Allie muses.

"Something we've been trying to do with all our clients is consider what the future will look the experience for them when we're not speaking with them on a daily basis. We've made sure that they're equipped with the proper systems in place for them to utilize the tool that we've made specifically to their needs. Molly's story is a great instance of this." Matt agrees.

Projects in the future and additional information

Matt and Allie are working on sites and companies that need "a substantial amount of accessibility" in order to provide customers with disabilities. are handicapped. "We're co-operating with truly incredible organizations who work in order to have these websites as well as their designs accepted by this particular segment of customers."

The majority of them agree that overall, they've had a great experience in the relationships they have with their clients "It's an amazing experience working with such great people.
