Jo Franco

"JoClub is an abbreviation that is a reference to Journaling Club, but also is significant due to the name of my daughter." Jo Franco begins. "When I began writing I realized that I was feeling a lot of emotions along with older siblings who were not keen to hear about it. Then, I decided to write."

"I did not have any documents in my youth as I hid from the world as also conversing in Portuguese and getting into English by falling over things," she relates. "I gained a number of other languages because I always was amazed at being able to be understood. However, I also felt disdainful since I was among the very small number of youngsters. My look was distinct from all the other children in my group. I was the youngest child and I had a quiet voice, and calm personality.

"Of of course I can imagine it happening within the next couple of years. It was the way it was in the past time, in which I suffered from feeling unnoticed? That's the reason why many people experience the same way."

It was an honor to know that Jo had the capacity of writing: "I had a more self-awareness as I could observe my surroundings with no judgment. I wrote about all this negativity, however I'm aware of the good events occurred in my life. I was able to modify my writing style, not just my writing style, however, I also was able to, by using an odd technique, reverse engineer how my brain works since I was searching for positive stories. It was necessary for me discern positive elements and identify positive things I could write about. I began to be more optimistic. I could be more optimistic."

Understanding the context

Going to the university in Manhattan at the University of Manhattan, Jo was amazed by the quantity of voices she had to compete with. Furthermore she was capable of filling the room in her journal. "It was not a matter of whether I was within the States or resided in other countries, I made use of this journal to allow me to go back to my family home.

Jo found much-needed space in her journal

"My "why" gives those with the same belief of "You're capable of this whatever the circumstances may turn out to be. It's not just a way to boost your mood as well as a way of capturing your experience and write it down. When you record it, you demonstrate a small acknowledgement of the event that occurred at all. Your body will always feel comfortable in its personal space as well as you head."

"There's evidence-based science to support this assertion," she adds. "There were research conducted regarding how to use writing for remedies for ailments. If people record their gratitude, they will be more thankful."

"Give your body the relief. Let the burden off of your shoulders, and then write it down on a piece of paper. When you record things that are negative, you give yourself to consider the subject with a level of emotion that isn't overpowering. It is possible to being swept up in the emotions. This is at the root of every thing that is the basis of confidence that is the essence of charisma. The main motive behind it is to go into a place and be capable of attracting luck."

"Maybe this is because they're one of the group members"

Jo certainly accomplished lots of great things in 2020. Her YouTube channel with over one million subscribers and she earned money to travel. "I was living this exciting and exciting life, but I was in the background and I composed. This was what I had hoped to achieve. What I accomplished was to write."

The month of January in 2020, she received her first Netflix assignment as anchor for The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals. "It is an avenue which has led me to ending my time on YouTube to the standard way of broadcasting. If you've ever worked on the production, they'll be aware of how long these days can become. Most days are sixteen hours in length, with a lot of moments of "hurry and waiting'. It's time to get ready for the day: makeup, hair cut. There are a few lines that you'd like to make in your head. However, you'll be told "No it's just a joke, It's the time to go through these!"

In between those pauses, usually which lasted long, Jo would write. "Writing was an activity I loved, and that's the reason I wanted to turn it into a profession." When covid began to gain recognition, it was the most important source of revenue.

"I experienced anxiety, like everyone around me. I made the decision to publish photos I had taken from my journal. After 100 days and I had started journaling for anyone in Instagram Stories. I was thinking to myself "Hey it could be something to use as a foundation of joining a club. Perhaps users might be interested in joining an online platform where they can journal together. This is the way JoClub began to be created. It was just 4 years ago. That's crazy!"

In the course of the Netflix series, Jo realized that journaling is a way of using her eyes to look at how allowed her to observe the world around her. "It was not just an exercise to satisfy a desire. If you're on the road for 2 days, you're exhausted. It's simple to become tired from something that's not connected to what you're paying for.

"You realize, this is my way to view the world. It is my way of viewing the world. That is the way I envision myself. This was clear for me to put other matters aside. Only one thing could be taken away from me was my writing. I had a plan to integrate this into my next chapter in my life."

Being more creative than her own

Jo gave her all to this project. "I released three videos every week in three languages. The company needed to recruit employees and then remove them. I was taught how to design the machine for content."

However, something had to be changed. "I was looking for something I had been taking breaks from. If you're tired or burnt out, which is common for entrepreneurs and creators and creators, you're not likely to be able to make money. It was my realization that in the event that this is a job will last for quite a while, I'll have to figure out a strategy to stay away from opportunities to make money."

Jo was inspired to come up with something that was better than what she'd could have imagined. The first journaling group created at the beginning of Zoom: "The membership started with a monthly fee of just $29. the benefit was one monthly live chat as well as daily journal prompts to everyone's inbox email."

She was looking to create an exercise program that was similar to yoga. The instructions included was followed by a lively discussion after which she asked two questions which were followed by breaks throughout the room. "It was IP (intellectual property)," she recalls. "After an interval of six months, I started thinking about how I can help facilitators become more knowledgeable about the operation of these events? Actually, could facilitators assist JoClub through ways I've never had the chance to? They'd love to "extract every good thing" in addition to working alongside the facilitators, a few of which are JoClub members, to develop an art journaling style and an "bring the tune of your choice" event for musicians at the beginning stages, as well as other activities that are similar to JoClub.

"Now we're hosting at least six sessions every month as well as hosting more sessions than I'd prefer," she says. "Beautiful events that I could not have imagined would happen, including retreats I run and an experiment that I did in the university. In the present, we're working on a variety of issues. This wouldn't be possible to achieve this had I put it in Jo Franco's team, and not my job as the primary."

Communities and Culture

"An important part in the notion of membership is the fact that it can help make a better environment" she says. "If you purchase an membership and you're allowed to live in your home which means you can design your home in your way that you want." Jo with her group has explored ways to create more vibrant threads to ensure that "people discuss the problems in the community and are convinced that they're getting the value they're paying for."

"It's the difference between an audience from a member," she adds. "An audience will likely engage in a dialogue with you, but it's not really a conversation. If I upload video content and users make comments about it, I'll answer them on a discussion forum. By forming an online community which I'm curating, I'm part of the structure of that group when members join the community."

Jo was able to think about the process of onboarding as well as how we can handle the newcomers. "How do we manage this newcomer who walks in the room and feels like they're not a part of the community? Once you are aware of this is when you are able to begin focusing on the curating of culture. This is the reason you preserve them for an extended amount of duration."

It's not easy. "It's an art, and one that you must remain passionate about for the sake of sustaining your growth because the number of group is a continuous issue. If you do not pay attention to news stories and news stories, you'll lose your friends."

It's clear that Jo is bringing the compassion and self-awareness that she has learned through her journaling experience to the way she conducts her membership. Journals can aid us in becoming more aware of who we are. We are not taught at a young age: "We're not given tools for dealing with our feelings. There are tools that could help you stay safe from falling. For me, it was difficult to understand these benefits. I believed it was an excellent way to spend time with friends. As I got older, I realized, "Damn! I've kept all my secretes"!"

You have tools to save yourself

When people ask about Jo, just 30' how did you spend during the entire day? Just wrote about it, and everything went smoothly," she says with a smile.
