She doesn't employ the term "teacher" or even use the word "teacher" in any sense "I do not have the position of giving people directions on how to behave" she states. "I aid people in avoiding act in a manner that's not appropriate."
Through experiential exercises, Jo coaches mainly actors and other artists or non-artist "seekers" in the process of learning how to achieve inner peace, and to become the person they are. This way, actors can stop being actors and start being themselves. "I would like to be more of a midwife than teaching, because I assist people in regaining their authentic self, and to be rejuvenated," she explains.

Jo decided to take a different approach towards performing.
Birthplace: Belgium Her home was Belgium. She completed her MBA and then specialized in human resources management and psychosomatic systemic. After that, she worked in corporate coaching. "The workplace was never exactly as I accustomed to," she shares. "I took the decision to put everything aside and go to Paris and begin afresh. ."
One of the things she tried in her new beginning was trying her hand at acting. The actress fell in love with the art. She was driven, dedicated and devoted all her time and money in training to be the most gorgeous actress she can be.
Despite her dedication to the work she did, her mother claims she was an average actor, but she was far from being an exceptional actor. Like other actors, she suffered from stage anxiety. "Most of my colleagues in the acting field had the same issues," she says. "We enjoyed acting, however when it came time to perform we were nervous. ."
She was interested in issues that were preventing her and other actors from becoming excellent actors. "My fascination was turned into a desire," She states. "I was interested in knowing what factors make actors so devoted and passionate reduce their performance ."
The next couple of years she researched how players felt a sense of being stifled. The research led her to the understanding that when children play, it's a way to express their independence. If adults playing, they've lost freedom due to the pressures of society. "When I found out that I'd been spending all day helping actors overcome their limitations in order to let them appear and act with the same enthusiasm that they once had," explains Jo.
Her coaching licence was obtained in the year 2000.
Jo's research based on experience has led her to study several methods of somatic healing which she then tested with other clients through group or private coaching sessions at the start of 2000. Then, Jo has named her firm as the Or Not To Act.
She realized that her students didn't have any accountability. "No no matter how dedicated my colleagues were, they didn't take the time to remain always present. Although we met frequently, at least 3 times a week, the accountability wasn't absent in between sessions. Balls would fall within minutes if they weren't with me." Jo says. Jo.
The idea was that online classes can help individuals be more consistent with the way they conduct themselves. Instructors describe classes on the internet in terms of "journeys," and the initial journey she guides people to will be The Reset: From Resistance to Freedom. The Reset was developed by her in 2014. "I created The Reset so that I was able to grasp hands of others during the entire 33 days of The Reset," she declares.
"Since it's accessible via the internet people can browse at their own time and determine their own timings."
Jo believes we all possess a fundamental nature, but the social norms force us to act as we are feeling, thinking and then act according to a certain way. According Jo, is what The Reset is to help people perform daily workouts in order to rid themselves of the habits they have developed and restore their normal behavior. Every day, during The Reset, Jo offers videos of the exercises. There are also 2 Q&As and 2 hours of work in groups with pods, as well as an hour-long segment of Q&A during which Jo responds to frequently asked questions on the Facebook group that is kept private.
The ability to alter the time of an online adventure lets Jo's members to engage in exercises whenever they want at the beginning of the day, after they rise before they sleep, as well as any enough time to do so during the course that they work. "The best part is that they're able to make these sessions work into their day-to-day routines," she explains.
The online business enabled her to have a greater flexibility in her lifestyle
When Jo first started her site Reset journey in 2011, she could keep track of each day's activities on her site. Then, a couple of years later she switched over to Reset following an advice for Reset by her teacher. "You are conscious of the things you're doing. I don't" she says with a laugh.
In the last few years, as she joined the online coaching area, Jo's lifestyle has transformed. In the moment of this interview, Jo was at the hospital where she was together with her child. "Eight years ago my daughter was diagnosed with an inheritable condition that requires regular hospitalization on a monthly basis," she explains.
" lets me be a mom and take care of my family while simultaneously keeping my business online going during my time in hospital for my daughter's every month blood transfusions" she declares. "Working online enables me to be able to take care of my kids in the way I'd like and be at in her home at all times to keep her. I'm able go to the hospital with medical issues, yet remain part of a profession I love without making me feel stressed out ."
Later travels of hers were personal creations.
After completing The Reset, they have the option of registering for a three-month training program named The Incidental Actor. This journey offers a weekly three-hour class for 12 weeks. "The participants in the class have a bit more self-sufficient with regards to their responsibility and showing their worth. There are routines that they are required to adhere to each day, but they can't depend on me to do the job. The need to be able to discern their motivations that is the reason they're present." Jo writes.
Jo is also scheduled to facilitate Q&As during the purposeful Actor journey, which are scheduled every three weeks. Once you've completed the course, they may choose to join an organization called BAMF Actors In Action, it's an acronym that stands that stands for Bad-Ass Mom of A**king Actors In Action. "I started this course because those who had completed both routes wished to continue practicing on this route," she says.
The program has been operating for the past four years and the membership includes an hour-long video-based session every month and group sessions via weekly podcasts, quarterly Q&A sessions with Jo, and a six-hour summit once every three months. "The membership lets members determine how best to get out in the world, to be the person they're supposed to do, get connected to their job, develop the content they'd like to produce and improve their productivity," she explains.
She worked with other artists from all genres
Based on Jo she believes that the vast majority of people she meets during her sessions are actors. But, there are many kinds of artists like actors, storytellers, dancers and even singers as well as regular people who "want to push past their physical limits," such as mothers as well as professionals like pro-athletes, TV hosts, professional athletes, and even therapists. "Freedom is the issue of anyone who wants to express their ideas fully," she says.
Because tours are led by a tour guide in English The tours attract visitors from all over the world. "We draw people from all continents We do however have the most popular ones: America, Europe, and Australia," she shares.
The majority of her clients are between 20 and 50 years old. They also have clients aged between that third decade in their life. It's common to accept those aged 70-80 to accompany her on her goes on her travels.

In the case of advertising her work, Jo says the word gets spread via the word of mouth.

She also posts on her Instagram page with over 10,000 followers. She also receives media attention by interviewing people in podcasts, blogs, and even in magazines.
The price she chose was reasonable
Jo will do her best to keep her travels affordable for everyone. Actors can have a lot of change with their earning. "If you attended an acting school once a week, you would pay anywhere between $300-$400. The majority of the time you sit watching other actors act out the scene, and at times it's a chance to play the role of an actor" she said.
"These options to book travel online cost less," continues Jo. "The advantages of traveling through us is 10 times more than what we sell to our customers. ."
The Reset costs less than $1000 USD. The price for Purposeful Actor is $1250 USD. A membership fee of $270 USD is per month.
Her genius was on the top of genius.
While she is the director of the business To Be Or Not To Act, Jo is firm in her resolve to invest each minute to her inner genius - which is training and generating material. Jo doesn't consider herself as a specialist in tech, and would rather be "in flowing" performing the tasks she is good in. "The various aspects involved in running the business aren't my area of expertise because they're not my area of expertise" Jo says.
Jo says her achievements are due to having a coach in place at the start of the process. When, at the end of the day, when the moment came to make permanent journeys, she opted to go for it and enroll in a class that cost $20k to learn how to accomplish it. "It was somewhat of an uphill climb that required me to spend a sum of money that was only half the amount. It was great that I managed to make it happen,"" she tells.
She believes it's achievable for any person to start an online enterprise that's profitable. But she also warns it's not an easy job.
"It is a matter of dedication and perseverance It is essential to be committed to the task you perform. In my case, that's all I've ever done since changing careers in my early 20s and all I'll do. This passion is the reason that, no matter how the going gets difficult I'm determined to stick with it ."
She created from the heart
The writer advises those who create companies that operate online to be transparent about the effort and time they'll put into building an online business that is successful. The author also suggests to only do this when the topic they're teaching is a subject that's close to their hearts.
"The difficulty is whenever you're on social networks every person wants to be your coach, and everyone claims you'll earn millions of dollars in just a matter of minutes. It's not true," says Jo. "It is the truth that you are holding something very dear to you and want to share it to the world, you will have a more extensive reach than the rest of your acquaintances. However, it requires a lot of effort even falling and getting up. This requires coaching, as well as investing money and time till the building is built ."
As Jo When you create your business out of the love you have to do it, it gives you the motivation to keep going despite challenging periods.
"An online company doesn't just offer you the chance to make income. It should be built by your heart and built on the tasks you're supposed to accomplish. If it doesn't get done, you'll be unable to fall off since it's too burdensome." She explains.
"If you're truly serious and committed, then you'll be able to overcome the challenges. If you're seeking an easy way to make money, then you'll not be willing to take on these difficulties. My best recommendation I could give is to stick to the things that you love to do by heart. It's essential to do your very best at what you're doing because of the intense level of rivalry. You have to trust your work ."
She was committed to her work
In response to questions concerning the trends in online education that we may witness in 2024 Jo believes that it is likely to remain an issue of excessive use of online programs. Jo states that the major distinction between "McDonald's" courses and "gourmet" classes will be the ones that have been developed with an intention which is authentic.
"When there's plenty of products, there'll be two kinds of job opportunities on the web. There will be McDonald's style of classes. It will be safe classes and gourmet. There are plans to achieve the opposite of the way you live, but these will not be from an authentic source. And There will be people who have been going at this for a while," she says.
For creating an exquisite delicious eating experience, her advice is to return to the basics.
