To expand the reach and recognition of filmmakers in the process of developing their skills, Dolby Vision has collaborated with Ghetto Film School and Dolby Vision in the creation of new short-films. For this year's Finalize Challenge, also known as the Script Challenge, four teams took on the challenge of making use of the opening sequence of Oscar-nominated , 15-time selected filmmaker Carlos Lopez Estrada as a base for their own film.
The film was created by teams who received grants totaling $25,000, they had the ability to finish their mission by taking advantage of the ability to color grade using Dolby Vision(r) as well mixing audio using Dolby Atmos(r). Dolby will be launching its new edition of its"Finish the script" contest in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for further details.
