Strengthening My Community Through Soulcial Suite's first retreat

If there's anything I've learned through managing Soulcial Suite, it's that artists thrive within a group that truly gets them. The highs and lows, and the niche
 in-jokes, inside jokes "Why is Instagram being so cruel to us? !" vent sessions--it all hits
 differently when you're in the with people who know.

The feeling of belonging to a community was what fueled that Soulcial Suite retreat, and it turned out to
 It was an experience that enriched the bonds of our community in ways that I didn't think of.
 Here's how our first retreat helped us get closer together, helped us build lifelong friendships and

The reason a retreat is necessary? Because creators need real-life connection

Soulcial Suite was built on the idea of connection and knowledge sharing, however
 There's a limit to what you can do with screens. I could tell how frustrating people were working
 being employed, how much they gave them the organization, and frankly what they were burning
  out. It was an ideal way to get away from the screens, and to actually
 spend quality time with each other. I was looking for an environment where we can

My goal was to create an environment that everyone could feel truly loved and respected.

Designing the retreat: The creation of an intentionally designed experience

In the beginning the workshop, I realized that it couldn't simply be a handful of workshops scattered around

Lessons learned and what's next for Soulcial Suite

Naturally, there's always the possibility of improvement. I learned so much through hosting
