We dove into those topics with three artists .
Gunnar Freyr, photographer and businessman
Frauke Hameister, photographer and creative
Samuel Sparrow and maker, potter and maker
Learn how these three creatives choose which work to share on their website, the way they created an online space that is a reflection of their aesthetic and work in a way, and how their websites have helped to advance their creative career full-time.
The choice of what to publish on your site
Each of the three creatives are focused on a distinct aspect of the user's experience while selecting what works to showcase on their own website. Gunnar, for example, tries to offer the viewer a variety of options while remaining in line with his style.
"Most of the traffic to my site comes via social media. Therefore, I try not to overlap my website too much with what I'm posting through my social media channels," he says. "My focus is on keeping it relevant to the kind of work I want to be involved in, as well as some of the work I am most proud of. This will prove pertinent to my followers and potential clients, and also for newcomers."
