Artist and illustrator hailing from Hamburg. Ines Hassler is better known as Frau Ines is known for her artistic talent, courage and her local art community.

"Creative exchange contacts, creative exchange and social aspects of the culture are significant to me and have had a profound impact on my professional career," says Ines. The scene in Hamburg is well-known as a place for creative expression run by Ines along with the group of artists from the local area: Hey Du Their shop for art along with Ines's tattoo studio. Also, Live Art Club is the name they use for their "cheerful and fresh" drawing lessons. "I would not be in the position I am am today were I not open to all the possibilities that Hamburg as well as other residents have offered me over the past few months,"" Ines says.

Artists who are prolific from a young age, Ines pursued a wide range of careers in art during her education, but ultimately decided to pursue what she believed to be the right career choice: design. "But after just a couple of years working in the realm of agencies," she tells us, "I discovered that the core of me was dedicated to what I was doing during my free time , and not so much having to deal with huge brands or customers. Then, at some point, I made the choice to create my own company and be a full-time artist."

Creative variety can be used as a motivational tool

"The diversity in my routines is what keeps me active and creative," she states. "The worst thing for me is to be doing the same thing every day. I enjoy switching between tasks along with having different groups working together and achieving the same targets. It's like working as a leisure activity."

"But obviously it's at times hard" she admits, "especially during times of crisis or when deadlines for various parties are set. The pressure can be overwhelming and sometimes it can get too overwhelming. Here it is for me to find a way of balancing."

"In the end, the feeling of self-realization never fails," Ines adds. "Sometimes you're amazed by the possibility of being able to describe what I do as a job. For me, it's not a job it's a way to live."
