Community organizer and skateboarder Briana King places their love to their sport and the community first. Making a living out of the passions of these two has come naturally for Briana because, as they explain to "I've done everything out of passion and enjoyment, not just because it was necessary to be something of any kind."
Find out the ways Briana makes use of its website and social media to stay connected to their skateboarding community on and off the internet.
Community building through products
For Briana Their website highlights all aspects of their company in one place: skate meetups, products to purchase, and connects to their vibrant group of fans on social media.
"It gives me an outlet to showcase my work and my future meetups," Briana states on their website, "but it also motivates me to explore the possibilities of new ways to think about ideas."
One of those suggestions was to create their own online store that will sell products related to skateboarding. Briana considers the products an additional way to connect to their local community by offering the members of the community "something which makes them feel happy or smile."
Briana has even employed the services of a skateboarder to run their online business. "I believe that we must support the community in every possible way. Every action I take goes to my local community."
