If you're a novice teacher it's fantastic to teach basic concepts, but If you're a seasoned teacher don't choose the basic subjects to cover even though they "sell well". Choose something stimulating and intellectually demanding to you at this moment. It is possible to add more essentials later but do not make it your primary goal.
