My drawing style as "High Contrast'.
I see my style as high-contrast, colorful and bold usually with a subtle social justice message hidden somewhere. I'm a huge fan of color and kind of a extreme person when it comes to my art style.
What's the secret for creating illustrations?
One of the most important aspects of my work is creating work that expresses my convictions and beliefs. I'm not exactly the most vocal or outgoing person, and so I tend to utilize my work as a way to express my beliefs, speak out about injustices and spread awareness of causes that matter a significant amount to me.
Digital drawing classes
Maia employs the drawing tablet as well as Procreate for digital portraits. In her Illustration of Expressive Portraits using Procreate course she will share how she creates colorful, vibrant and gritty portraits.
