When I'm not working, I enjoy doing 30-minute research, or other investigations that allow me to explore whatever it is that I am feeling at the time of at the time. It was a huge contribution to my personal development however it also helped find the kinds of subjects I was interested in.

Nowadays, I like to focus on the colors of light and also the best way to explain things in a way that is easy so that I don't need excessively elaborate in my work. I prefer drawing my figures as close as I can to the real world. But as time passes ahead, I'm hoping that I can make shapes move further and become more stylized when I draw.
When I start a painting, generally I prefer to lay out the basic shapes using BW or straight in different colors. In the event that I think it's necessary initially, I start with linework initially. After I've established an established base, I prefer to translate the light and shadow shapes and shadows into separate layers. Then, I start to create or render the image generally shifting from small to large particulars.

The Streets of London painting I used a similar technique. To create sharp edges and keep things in order, I made use of several layers. I put the primary light within an additional layer.
The layers make me feel less anxious about creating mistakes. But when I'm comfortable in the space I'm at when I paint, I can begin mixing a couple of aspects while keeping only the elements that I believe are necessary.

For me, colours tend to be an "feel" aspect, and I pick colours which feel good. Also, I have a number of reference sources I consult that can help me choose the right colours, sometimes I blend references but others I use only just one.
It's definitely a good idea to study colour and light theoryto understand the things you can do to help make the overall colour value and palette improved.

It's a bit difficult for me to determine what's the secret to creating my artwork... I just like to explore different styles, techniques and subject matters and get the inspiration of other artists.
Just a few months into my creative journey that I is struggling to figure out what I'm like as an artist, and my personal style. The main difference nowadays is that I do not think about it as much as I did in the past and I'm convinced that it's made a lot of difference.
My Personal Background
I'm Bjork who's a visual artist. I'm currently employed as a Concept Artist on games.

I'm from a tiny nation which is called The Faroe Islands and have always had a creative spirit in some way, be it by writing, or storytelling, or anything else. I graduated with a BA in CG arts at The Animation workshop in Viborg, Denmark, in 2019 and started my first job in London in the following year.
Today, I'm mostly being a concept designer at Envar Studios but also do occasionally freelance work.
It's usually me who's more active on Twitter instead of the Instagram platform. If anyone is interested to purchase prints, I'm offering the prints through Inprnt.
