As part of our Community Team, we are in charge of The Hero Community and other community driven initiatives and resources. Our mission is in connecting people around the world, and to assist our Heroes to achieve success in their entrepreneurial endeavors with the tools and programs of our community.

What's a particular professional accomplishment that you are most pleased with?

How has your ethnic personal identity affected your experience in the field of technology?

It's something I'm trying to gain a better understanding of myself.

Do you celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month If so what is it to you?

No, not specifically AAPI Heritage Month, but as a child I took part at Korean celebrations of the culture and tradition, such as events and initiatives. As with many others, I've realized how important such cultural occasions as well as events are in knowing the meaning of belonging and identity.

Do you have a story to share about an event or individual that you've met in AAPI time that has significance to you?

The most significant would be my parents, along with the many families of immigrants that sought out higher-quality opportunities elsewhere. It's fascinating to contemplate the different challenges faced by the earlier generations of AAPI group. Additionally, I must affirm that I'll not forget the encounter with Linsanity was...so thanks for that Jeremy Lin!

What is the best way to participate in the AAPI the group?

I typically seek out communities in my workplaces where I spend the most time. In my university years I took part heavily with KSA (the Korean Students Association) in addition to at other workplaces I've participated in different AAPI specific ERGs.

What are you most happy about at work ?

The thing I love most to work with is the individuals and teams I'm able to work with. I really appreciate the friendly and supportive atmosphere that's been created, and the passion which is exhibited for our products as well as our clients is inspiring to work in.

Do you have any other information you'd like to add on this topic for our readers who read the blog?

It's a blatant way to invite our clients to join our Hero Community! We're determined to build the most engaged and enriching user experience we have and we would love to get to know our clients at the event!
